dann steht unten rechts sneak peek - free product reviews. Man findet echt fast alles, es ist der Hammer, nur die mat lumiere von chanel habe ich noch nicht gefunden, sonst ist alles da. Afirm hat sie insgesamt nicht, manche doctors-brands nicht, weil es sbt und mbr zum Beispiel in USA nicht gibt. Aber wegen afirm schreibe ich ihr noch.

Also mir gefallen die Testberichte sehr gut, auch, dass über die Firma (z. B. hier Clarins) im großen und ganzen Hintergrundwissen geliefert wird.

es ist so aufschlussreich - ich hatte über das peau neuve von clarins nachgedacht und das RoC retinoxx, weil ich so genervt war von dieser USA-Bestellerei von meinem afirm, aber beide hat Paula geschlachtet:
clarins:
Renew-Plus Night Lotion is said to contain a retinol precursor activated by plant extracts, but retinyl palmitate is not the precursor to retinol, nor can it be activated by plants to become retinol; even if it could, they’d be moving in the wrong direction, since retinol and retinyl palmitate require special enzymes in skin to convert them to all trans retinoic acid. Even if this was a slam-dunk process, there’s barely any vitamin A in this moisturizer. It is a decent formulation for normal to dry skin and contains some helpful plant oils and a couple of good antioxidants.

und RoC:
Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Serum has a silky, silicone-enhanced texture that’s suitable for all skin types; it’s a shame the fragrance and preservatives carry more weight in this product than retinol or other ingredients of value to aging skin. Neutrogena’s Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream, Original Formula ($11.99 for 1.4 ounces) is distinctly preferred to this.

damit war klar, beide sind nicht das, was ich will, nämlich eine funktionierende Retinolbehandlung - clarins geht gar nicht und RoC ist zu niedrig dosiert. Aber das afirm ist toll, es ist nämlich baugleich mit dem help me von philosophy, das Paula so bewertet:
help me is a good retinol product for normal to very dry skin not prone to blemishes (the amount of wax can aggravate breakouts). Content-wise, retinol isn’t given more prominence here than it is in several drugstore lines, but it is stably packaged, fragrance-free, and certainly an option.
Pickel habe ich nie bekommen, also bleibe ich dabei. Afirm ist trotz allen Aufwandes billiger als skinceuticals, das ich mir auch aus den USA schicken lassen müsste:
Retinol 1.0 Maximum Strength Refining Night Cream with 1.0% Pure Retinol is similar to the Retinol 0.5 product, except it contains twice as much retinol. The same basic comments apply (including the one about St. John’s wort), but a caution is warranted because using retinol at this level (1%) poses a slight risk of side effects that are similar to, but less pronounced than, those caused by topical tretinoin, including redness, flaking/peeling, and possibly stinging. These effects should be short-term as the skin acclimates to retinol, but if they do not dissipate or if they worsen with continued use, stop using the product; retinol at this level may not be right for your skin.
