Review:
This foundation has been at the top of my list of reader requests since its ads began appearing. With a name that translates for many as a “makeup so natural it fits like a second skin,” no wonder the curiosity is so intense! While this foundation does have an innovative texture, it has an antiquated sun protection factor of 12 (it should be a minimum of SPF 15 by the standards of medical associations around the world) and it does not contain the right UVA-protecting ingredients. Armani doesn’t have a good track record for foundations with sunscreen, and this continues their disappointing trend.
If sunscreen is not an issue for you (because your daytime moisturizer is rated SPF 15 or greater and contains the right UVA-protecting ingredients), then this foundation is best described as a primer with color. Most foundation primers are silicone-based (as this Armani foundation is) and leave a weightless, silky matte finish that slightly fills in large pores and superficial lines. That’s exactly how this foundation functions, except that it also contains pigments that provide sheer to light coverage and contribute to its very skin-like natural appearance. This foundation is best for normal to oily skin because the powdery silicones it contains will magnify even the smallest amount of dry skin—one of the reasons the Armani makeup artist I spoke with commented that people either love or hate this foundation. It simply isn’t forgiving of even the tiniest speck of dry skin. There are nine shades available, two of which have shimmer and are best used as a highlighter (shade 8) or shiny peach-tinged bronzer (shade 9). Shades 1–7 are flesh-toned without shimmer, and all but one are recommended; avoid shade 5, which is noticeably peach. With a higher SPF rating and the right UVA-protecting ingredients, this foundation really would be something to consider, because on the right skin types it really can look like a second skin.

Wohl ähnlich wie die luminous silky foundation. In meinem eher trockenen Wangenbereich fleckt sie leicht. Schade. Dann werd ichs nicht ausprobieren..

Mir hat sie nicht gefallen, bin extra wegen den Farben zu Armani gefahren, sogar die VK meinte mit einer Foundation könne man sie gar nicht vergleichen *duck*

Ja, für mich ist sie auch eher eine getönte Creme. Oder eine gaaaaanz leichte Foundation. Ich liebe sie nach wie vor und werde sie wohl auch nachkaufen.

Ich finde sie auch ganz gut. Nur meine Farbe 5 ist schon hart an der Grenze. Einen Tacken heller wäre besser gewesen. Leider ist Ton 4 schon wieder viel zu hell.

So extrem leicht finde ich sie gar nicht. Für mich ist sie eine vollwertige Foundation. Klar, wenn jemand was deckendes sucht wird er/sie nicht glücklich werden. Aber ich finde trotzdem das sie die Haut schön ausgleicht.
