    Ich versuch's auch dieses Jahr

    Pink sind die geplanten und lila die gelesenen Bücher Eventuell verschiebe ich manche Bücher nochmal. Ich will erst jede Kategorie einmal abhaken können, auch wenn ich dafür manche Bücher doppelt zähle. Danach versuche ich dann, aufzufüllen bis ich jedes Buch nur noch einmal zähle. Das mache ich aber nur daheim auf meiner Liste, sonst wird es zu unübersichtlich hier

    Darf ich etwas anregen?

    Einer der Kategorien lautet National Book Award. Das ist ja ein amerikanischer Buchpreis und nicht alle Bücher sind unbedingt übersetzt. Wäre es nicht sinnvoller stattdessen den deutschen Buchpreis zu nehmen?

    So richtig gut gefällt mir auch nicht die Liste Oprahs Buchclub (obwohl man da einige Anregungen entdecken kann) und New York Times.

    Ich nehme einen Spiegel Bestseller statt NewYork Times. Dann ein Buch, das den deutschen JugendLiteraturpreis bekommen hat statt dem YA der NY times. Dann eines, das ins deutsche übersetzt wurde und nicht ins englische... Macht für mich alles mehr Sinn

    Ein bisschen flexibel kann man das ja gestalten. Über den Buch Club habe ich mir noch keine Gedanken gemacht.

    Da ich sehr viele englische Bücher lese (warum soll ich eine Übersetzung lesen, wenn ich die Originalsprache ausgezeichnet beherrsche?), finde ich gerade die Kategorien spannend, da ich da mir völlig unbekanntes kennenlernen kann, aber ich werde manche Kategorien auch großzügig deute so starr an ein Raster halten finde ich prinzipiell doof
